Loved this blender

I loved this blender for the first year that we had it, but the plastic base on the bottom broke and I can't find replacement parts anywhere. This blender served us well for everything from margaritas to smoothies... just wish replacement parts were available, otherwise it would be a 4 star rating!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great While It Lasted

I have had the BL1820 blender for less than a year. The plastic base has basically disintegrated. It literally started crumbling apart and liquid seeps out in a steady stream. It mixed, blended and made a fantastic smoothie...until it was unusable.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Terribly unfortunate

SO it seems everyone is having the same problem with this blender as I am. I bought it back in October and a month later the plastic base split when I was tightening it. I could still use it until recently when it broke all the way. if it wasn't for the fact that the base was made out of plastic, that obviously breaks easily, I'd give the blender a higher rating.... :(

Love the blender Base Cracked

We love our blender, but the plastic base for the pitcher cracked making it impossible to use for blending a pitcher full. Cannot find a replacement part on any sites for this. Hoping I can figure out something without having to toss the entire thing!

Pretty good...except for...

I recieved this as a housewarming gift. I like the clean design and features. The buttons and motor speeds all operate well. But....like many reviews here the glass jar base is made from plastic and is cracking to the point the blender is no longer usable. It's unfortunate that this small flaw tarnishes a good appliance.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good Blender but...

Really like the blender, it's powerful and does a nice job without overkill. My problem is that the base broke pretty quickly and easily. While the rest of it seems well made, that part feels really cheap. I like the blender and just want to replace that part so if anyone knows where I can do that, it would be appreciated.

Cracked base - cant find replacement

Base cracked right in the middle of making Christmas dinner - disappointed! Its been a decent blender but base is very cheap and cracked into small pieces ruining my sauce. Cant find parts. Very aggravating!
