Great Blender until...

It looks like there's several people having the same issue that I had. This blender worked great, but the plastic base just broke and leaked out everywhere!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Nice Blender (for a while) poor website help

Like most of the reviews on here, this was a nice blender until the plastic base broke. Now I try to go on the Spectrum website to email customer service and the fields don't all fill in. So I cant email if the "required fields" are not filled in. So, I try to look up the part to purchase on the website... and it's no longer available.
Unbelievable. It's one thing to have a part break (though, it does seem about 50% of the reviews are the SAME issue) - It's totally another thing to not then have an avenue to deal with the problem.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Worked well until base broke and blade ceased

We bought this blender about two years ago. It worked well for a while, however today when I went to use it the blade would not turn properly and I noticed that the base had craked. I'd like to order replacement parts if they're available somewhere.

Received this blender as a birthday present. Worked swell until the base split. Only had a few months and was surprised how quick it failed. The rest of the unit is very well made. Can't seem to find a replacement, so I'll have to trash it!!!

It seems that the broken plastic lid it a common issue. I have tried to get a replacement for it and cannot find it anywhere. I would appreciate information about where can I find it to order it inmediately. Otherwise I would have to throw it away.
