Blender plastic base broken

I like the blender but I have the same issue as most of the others customers that the plastic base of the glass jar broke and the unit is unusable. How can I get a replacement for the screw-on plastic base for the glass jar?

Very Good Blender

its really very good blender but finding a replacement part is the biggest pain. My glass jar broke and i am unable to find this anywhere in Canada.

Base Ring Broken, Again

I purchased this blender a couple years back and the base ring cracked within a few months. B+D sent me a replacement blender which has worked well until now when the base ring cracked, again. Please send instructions for obtaining a new base ring. (See DrHal on page 279-308 of 324 Reviews).

Great blender, but broken base ring

I have loved this blender and it has worked flawlessly for the past few months! Love the heavy glass jar, but our plastic base ring broke and B&D’s parts website doesn’t work to order a replacement part. I’d love to keep using this but it leaks without a new ring.

Broken base

The base cracked after a couple months. I taped it up and it's been fine til tonight, everything spilled out the bottom.
I cant find a replacement online and I cant find my receipt because i know it hasn't been 2 years.

Another Broken PLASTIC Base - BL1820

The blender motor and blending itself has worked fine overall. But whoever designed this CHEAP thin plastic base ought to receive a poor performance review. With the weight of the blender jar it is destined to fail and end up in a landfill.
Poor design BD! You should know better. And yes it is past the 2 year warranty and I too can't find a replacement part. Last BD product I will buy.
