Another broken plastic base.....

Seems like I'm certainly not the first to complain. Base started chipping away soon after purchase. I made it 15 whole months before it broke this morning (horizontally) and 40 ounces of blueberry smoothie dumped all over my counter and floor. No replacement parts available online, and it doesn't look like this model is selling anymore either.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Broken plastic base 3

I don't know if I should be happy or not to realize that I am not the first person to have this bad experience with that product. Finding a replacement part for that blender has been a nightmare. The blender (model BL1820) itself is good and if it wasn't by the plastic base and the cutter blade replacement parts that I DON'T FIND ANYWHERE I would definitely recommend it to my friends. Can someone help me with finding it? Thanks a lot.

Plastic part broke, not able to find replacement

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As many other reported, the plastic part at the bottom broke and I cannot find a replacement. It seems another product made for one time suage, and if break, replace it instead of fixing it.

Good blender , great personal blender jar

I bought this blender about 2 months ago, it works very well, the only problem i have is when i use the personal blender jar, the noise is incredible !!sounds like the machine is going to come apart !!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Plastic piece that connects glass to motor is broken now, plus this blender is very noisy.

Great function, poor assembly

I have had our blender for about a year or so. I love the actual blender, but like so many others, the base cracked. When we have tried to use it, ice cream/milk just pours out of it. (We can only use the little personal one) I have tried to find a replacement part but have been unsuccessful. Very frustrating.
