Broken Base but otherwise functions

Not the best blender but works for smoothies every morning. Would be better if the base didn't crack after a couple of months of normal use! Trying to find a replacement part, because I don't want to buy a brand new blender already. I wish they'd have made it out of better plastic or any other sturdy material.

Great blender but plastic base cracked

I would love, love, love to keep this blender if I can find a replacement part for the plastic base. The blender itself works really well, but the plastic base cracked and now leaks and is therefore useless. I wish they the base could be made out of a better, more durable material. Failing that, I wish I could easily find a replacement part. I hate that I might have to purchase a new blender.

Efficient yet Weak Base

I purchased this blender over a year ago and it gave me no problems until the base cover shattered and have been looking online for a replacement part. I have had no luck and saw that this has been a recurring event for customers. I would recommend that it be made of sturdier material. Please let me know what can be done to replace this part because I'm unable to use the blender. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

great to you try to find parts

Received as a gift about a year ago. Worked great at first. Now it leaks around the blade. You take the blender off and the area that you set the blender is full of the stuff from the blender. What a mess. Can't find parts any where. Will be replacing with a different blender

Great until you need parts

Bought this blender 4 months ago. Gasket between cup and blade broken already. Can't find replacement parts anywhere! Not happy that a simple plastic gasket means buying a new blender!!!

plastic base broke

I liked this blended for the first year, but now the plastic base is broken, like it has for so many other people leaving reviews here. I haven't figured out how to get a replacement part. Makes the blender a big waste of money, to come with such a fragile plastic piece that none the less is essential to its function.

Great until the base broke...

The blender was working well until - like so many others - the plastic base broke and now the blender is not usable. Extremely frustrating and not what I expect from Black & Decker products whatsoever.
