Broken Jar Base - Could've Had 5 Stars

I would definitely give this more stars had it not been for the broken jar base. It began cracking early on and now I can't use my blender at all! Also, the lid to the personal jar has cracked but that's not thr deal breaker. I paid more for what I thought was better quality but in reality I would have been better off going with a cheaper brand since I can't even use my blender.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Plastic Jar Base Cracked - Rendered Unusable

The blender was working fine, have been using it for about a year. Like many, many others leaving reviews on the site, I have also discovered that the plastic jar base has cracked. Tried to find replacement part on my own, but it's virtually impossible for this model. Would hate to have to buy a new blender. But it's unusable as of now.

Great blender, bad base

. The performance was incredible. The plastic base cracked on day one, but I was still able to use the blender. I have had it for a few months and the plastic has finally given out and broken the seal all together. I have searched for replacement basis but have been unable to find any.

Just What I needed

I needed something strong enough but small and personal for my office. Mixing my shakes in here make them tasted better than shaking them. I am however looking for more jars and lids and I do not see the model number I am looking for. I want two more jars and lids....Part #'s BL1130-07 and BL1130-08

Yet another broken plastic base...

Wish I had seen all these reviews before I purchased my blender a few months ago. I use it a few times a week to blend up eggs, and just last week my plastic base broke. I can't find any replacements in Canada. Really disappointed with the quality of the plastic screw-on base for the glass jar.

Platstic base broke/cracked while making a smoothie. Made a mess. Very disappointed in product. Guess I'll get the standard response about where to order a replacement...

The functionality is ok, blends well enough for what our family requires, smoothies, baby food etc. But, similar to other commenters, the plastic base piece has worn out/broken and the blender no longer functions. Parts are impossible to find. Very disappointed with the quality and durability.

Awesome But Plastic parts are brittle

I bought the BL-1820SG less than a year ago and the JAR BLADE BASE is now broken and the blender cannot be used. I have searched everywhere for a replacement but have not found one.
