It gets hot where it needs to be hot & doesn't burn me by being hot where it's not supposed to be hot as other products are known to do. I use this straightener daily but it doesn't dry out my hair. A surprise feature is the conditioner well to condition your hair while straightening it. It's handle fits well in my hand & doesn't feel awkward at all. This is by far the best straightener I've ever used and it has lasted the longest too.

When using other flat irons, I have to turn the heat to high in order to get my hair smooth which has dried my hair over time. The Remington is different in that it smooths my hair to a nice silky shine on medium heat. This is definitely a keeper and more than worth the price.
