Great unit

After mutual delays (about 4 months), we finally got our unit. So far it is just what we wanted. Very quite compared to our previous one. Plenty of room for what we need. Very happy with it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

GE Slate Side-by-side

So far, the refrigerator has met my expectations. I like the door alarm and temperature monitoring feature. The ice maker works well but tends to scatter ice all over my floor. This is the reason I can only give 4 stars. My main reason for purchasing is the slate color, which no other brand offers to my knowledge. The matte color hides fingerprints and dirt well.

Wanted cafe series but it did not come in side by side and could not put handles from cafe frig on my purchase-- would recommend if wants side by side

Interor light is not bright enough to light up middle and lower sections of fridge compartment and shelving adjustments do not seem to be correct.can not configure shelving to accomadate our needs.

In January 2023, I purchased a set of GE appliances, electric stove, microwave, dishwasher and side-by-side refrigerator. So far, very happy with all products. I'd recommend these appliances to friends, family and buy again.

Supplied by builder. We have never had a side by side refrigerator. Don't care for it. Cannot put anything large in either compartment. Glad we have a top freezer in the garage.
