Replaces previous GE side by side

I bought this refrigerator to replace a 2000 GE profile side by side. It needed to fit into the same space. We accomplished that goal but it is smaller inside and has poor lighting.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

GE Counter Depth Refrigerator

I'm so happy I chose this refrigerator! The counter depth size expands the footprint of my kitchen, while the organization of the shelving gives me plenty of room. I am enjoying the fresh, cool water in the door, too. I love it!

Sleek and great storage

Fridge was delivered yesterday and Im happy with the look, storage, and functionality.
Storage slats are a little difficult to put on the doors. Freezer would have more stoage if they used baskets instead of shelving

Finally, a fridge were I can load up the shelves and close the door without the items on the door shelves getting in the way.

The internal square footage is overestimated. Due to large plastic moldings, the refrigerator has less room inside than its previous model.

The fridge storage is really great, but the light is rather dim. Love the moisture control feature on the drawers.
On the freezer side, it would benefit from drawers or baskets instead of shelving so items are held more securely.

Its the right size for our family, its energy efficient, love the black color,

Love this refrigerator. Was skeptical about door water/ice dispenser - but absolutely love it. Size could be larger to allow for water bottles. Interior has limited space for groceries, especially the freezer
