Horrible!!!

We bought this fridge just a year ago and it is has been nothing but problems since we bought it. The water dispenser is super slow, and now the freezer gets frosted and blocked by frost. We’ve had it serviced multiple times with “everything working properly” and had gone to bed with a 0 degree freezer and woken up to a 36 degree freezer and 50 degree fridge. Have had to throw away our groceries 4x. I’m done!!! Spent way too much on this fridge and already needing to buy another! Ridiculous!!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I am not happy with it. I would recommend it but this refrigerator is the only one that fits in the space in our build ins.

Disappointment! Parts missing, less room & more

Replaced old GE counter depth, huge disappointment and hassle! Freezer door plastic shelf piece missing, bottom freezer drawer is not as shown loosing another shelf (no wire shelf on bottom shelves). Doesn't have space features as old model, less cubic sq ft than old model. Front was damaged (product itself or in handling?? Don't know). Temp too cold after 24 hours. I had very few choices being a counter depth. Bad news!

Just loaded my new refrigerator and noticed GE has eliminated the shelf and cheese/meat drawer. The freezer side no longer has adjustable shelves.
Really! I pay more and get less. Ah.......the American way.

Adequate size considering there is only 2 of us. Would have liked there to be more lighting in the bottom half of the refrigerator. Our kitchen is well lit so I able to manage.

love the room in the freezer

most side by sides have small freezer area due to icemaker. This freezer uses all the space around ice maker.

Updated for 2016; inadequate refrigerator lights

We were restricted to size because of mill work, so had to replace 15 year old GE profile (which worked well) with updated model of exactly same size. The GZS22DSJCFSS has only one light at the top of the refrigerator compartment and the rest of the compartment is quite dark. Other GE profile models have much better lighting (for example PSHS9PGZBCSS which I have in my office) but which is deeper so wouldn't fit at home.
