We had limits on the depth and height of a product due to our kitchen cabinets. There were cheaper products out there that would fit but they weren't nice looking or have the features this one does. The slate wasn't our first choice but it's all we could get because we were told this line is being discontinued. I hope that's not true. The finish is great and the slate goes very well with our other black appliances. The inside space is limited due to the smaller size of it but the adjustable shelves and door shelves work perfect and maximize the space there is. I really miss a deli drawer but the amount of space it would take up I understand why there isn't one. After more than 6 months I still very pleased.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Replacement GE Profile

We decided to replace an 18 year custom wood panel GE frig as the computer panel to access ice and water through the door was no longer manufactured for our model and needed to be replaced. The new frig is easy to access and appears to hold the proper temperature in both the freezer and refrigerator portions. We stayed with GE as our other kitchen appliances also are GE. The only aspect so far that I might improve on, would be to add another light in the refrigerator part in addition to the single dome light. It is a bit dark from midway to the veggie and fruit bins.

This is a good looking product but it lacks some practical planning for shelving. Where is the drawer for cheese or cold cuts? My prior refrigerator had three drawers, two large and one smaller. This refrigerator has two large drawers.

Wish I could have seen before purchase. To small inside and very dark only 1 light in fridge. Have owned GE for the last 45. Hope The quality Is the same great I'm used to. Also water and ice pad should be back lit,to dark to see.

We like our new fridge and the space it provides. The only thing I can complain about is the noise the ice maker is making. It's brand new and has a loud humming sound. Will have to call customer service to come look at it already.

Bad interior lighting
