the only good thing about this refrigerator is its color(slate). Otherwise it is a piece of garbage!

We bought this when we moved in to our new home. The product has performed adequately. There have been some issues which are being resolved. Only owned the product for 5 months.

Nice looking, basic functions

This was purchased to replace an 18 year old refrigerator that was ugly, loud and had a hard time holding temperature. I think this is a beautiful appliance and I like finally having water and ice in the door. I am not impressed with its ability to hold temperature. It seems like a couple of times a week I can hear it running (still very quiet, only a faint whine) trying to get back to the set temp. When I check the temperature on the door, the freezer is 3-5 degrees too warm. This can happen even if it has been sitting unused for a few hours, not because the door has been opened and closed repeatedly. Why can't a new appliance hold temp within a degree or two?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
