Extremely disappointed!

This fridge is replacing a 12-year-old identical model. There weren't any in the show room so we were very surprised when it arrived This fridge has the worst light ever. The old model had a second light and an extra drawer. Replacing the LED helped somewhat but the bottom is very dark. We like the slate
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Door Handle Broke off

The door handle broke off in less than a year. To replace the handle itself is at a cost of $100 plus. There is a small part which is detachable from the handle that is plastic and that is what is broke. In looking to see if it is available, I could not find it.
It would appear it has a part # of 225D8603A002. So if anyone knows where that can be obtained for less than $100 it would be most appreciated. I don't need a whole handle, just the bracket.

NICE AND SPACIOUS.

We recently bought this GE appliance. We loved it. It has a special storage for fruits and vegetables. Where you can control the humidity. It has a lot of place for you to keep stuff on the side door shelf. Water dispenser and alot more.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Broke after 4 months

It broke after 4 months! Temps are 65 in freezer and 69 in frig. Ice maker doesn't work. All food inside spoiled and had to be thrown away. No good!!

It keeps things cold or frozen, so, that's good. Counter depth was main reason to get it. However, the interior light sucks. Too bright in the face and only one bulb, so, it doesn't illuminate the lower shelves very well. All the shelves work fine and holds our items nicely. Less interior space due to counter depth, but, we knew that going in and it's just the two of us now, kids are grown and moved out. Ice maker, water dispenser work fine ,however, the controls panel isn't illuminated, so, difficult selecting what you want at night. Didn't expect that, so, beware. The fridge is quiet enough most of the time which is a plus.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

A real GEM!

This is a very nice refrigerator. The inside is nicely finished. The shelves are adjustable and the door shelves are large enough to hold large bottles of juice. The two zone cooling (refrigerator and freezer) is great. If you purchase this refrigerator you will need to allow about 24-36 hours for the cooling to stabilize to 0-37. After that, enjoy!

I bought this about 2 months ago. It looks nice in my kitchen, counter depth is great. It could use a few more shelves and as others have said the lighting is not the best. Overall for the price, I am happy with it.

Remodeled my kitchen with GE's slate appliances and have no complaints about any of them apart from the fridge and its constant array of various noises. It's the only fridge I've ever owned that I could hear
