So far so good. Plenty of space and the slate finish is easy to keep clean. Ice dispenser on door throws ice when filling your cup, which is slightly annoying.

GE sent a replacement door within a week of purchase to fix a dent. Their installer was professional and neat.

GE Counter Depth Refrigerator

We bought this for our new home and have been disappointed in the ice maker. We regularly get crushed ice rather than the desired cubed ice. This is a constant annoyance. While we needed a counter depth refrigerator for the space the builder provided, the smaller size is hard to get used to.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The home builder provided GE appliances at its design center; in this part of the country (South) it appears that GE is a popular brand.

No manual. Online manual virtually useless.

Just installed. Slate looks great. Trying to figure out what the special drawers are for, but there's no manual. Online manual is worthless because it covers so many different models and we can't tell which items apply to what. The clause "some models" is prevalent.
