Nice Refridge

Bought this to replace my old GE Model, same fridge older model lasted 23 years, the temp controls on door are a nice touch as well as inline water filter. Plenty of room in this counter depth model

Had for 2 months no issues.....if I could get rid of little excess flakes of ice when getting ice would call it PERFECT....

Although I like basic design of the refrigerator, I have to point out some deficiencies which are easy to be corrected:
1. The shelves need to expand. When I pull out a tray the shelves leave gaps behind that only wide enough food can be placed in the gap areas. I strongly suggest replacement shelves that allow more support in the back of the tray shelf as it is being pulled out.
2. The ice maker compartment is smaller than the one that was replaced. I have not put it to the test but I am hoping shutoff is based on either weight of ice or how full the compartment is.

3. In both the refrigerator and freezer the bottom shelves are far too small compared to the previous GE refrigerator
4. On the plus side the lighting appears to be brighter and the added ice maker shelf adds a bit more space back although I understand it must be removed in order to switch on and off the icemaker.

Nice & Roomy

I'm overall very happy with this refrigerator. It's very roomy, but I would like to have a deli drawer. Also it does make some noises every once in awhile that sounds like someone is opening the refrigerator, which can be creepy if you live alone. Overall though I'm very pleased with it's exterior & interior design.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Very nice refrigerator. Only wish the buttons on the door lit up so I can see which one I am using at night. The light under dispenser is not bright enough either.

Exceptional value for a counter depth refrigerator. This unit is whisper quiet. Ice maker and water dispenser work perfectly. Internal water filter is a nice feature. All and all a great product.
