Fits well into the space

I wish it had 3 bins instead of 2. I like the automatic water, ice etc dispenser.

Love Counter Depth

Very nice frig. Love the counter depth and the space it has provided for my small kitchen. Really like having the water filter inside the frig and not have to crawl around on the floor to change it!

Convenient Fridge

Love the ice & water dispenser on the door! It has helped increase our drinking water and much better than our previous refrigerator that had a water dispenser inside the refrigerator. It's much easier to access the freezer and the shelves keep it neatly organized. It is so much easier to get to food in the freezer in the side by side than the French door refrigerator that we replaced with this GE. The refrigerator side doesn't have a lot of room, but works well since we're a family of two.

Basic, simple, water system has bad taste

Simple, basic refrig and it fit with minor adjustments. We have accomodated for fewer shelves and drawers. All in all, we are happy for two of us. However, the water has an old plastic, musty taste! It seems to come from the area between the reservoir and the dispenser. We must throw away the first glass of water. We were recently gone for a week and the bad taste was worse, very bad with sitting that long. The sales repairman has replaced a filter, and the reservoir. We are waiting for a GE repairman next month. We used a lot of water from our previous Amana, however, with this off taste, GE would be better to gain the space. And perhaps the money would be better spent to have filtered water at the sink and not the refrig.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I like the refrigerator but the controls on the front are very difficult to read especially at night. Can't believe they can't be illuminated.
