Great Features

I like the door alarm. The stainless steel design is wonderful. The water dispenser is out of this world...love to drink water. The only down side is the freezer area does not hold enough.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The freezer door hardly ever closes properly (with nothing in the way) and then ices up. The ice tray broke and now does not push ice through, requiring you to open the freezer and pull out the tray to get ice. Its very frustrating. I've had service on it regarding the door and they couldn't find anything wrong with it...

Quiet but DARK!

We like the fit in our specific space but the interior has too much air space where a shelf or another drawer should have been added. The biggest negative is only light is at the top leaving it very dark below. I don’t understand for the size, style and price i paid that GE couldn’t add lights like the other GE Profile which looked like a Christmas tree when opened, lights throughout.

One Headache After Another

This purchase has been nothing short of a disaster. Our first one came and had to be replaced because it came from the factory not working. This one came and makes constant noise and the ice maker has never worked correctly. Still it cooled and froze so I haven't called it in, but now the freezer isn't sealing and it is making snow.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Nice Unit, but Freezer Poorly Designed

This refrigerator came with our new home, it would not have been my first choice because the freezer space was poorly designed. I do love the water and ice-dispenser as ice is dispensed fast with good sized cubes and water flow is strong. Refrigerator side is basic, but holds a lot. I would have given this 5 stars if the freezer held more.

Don't recommend: Dark & un-spacious

My apartment building replaced my older fridge with this model. I wish I had the old one back.
The lighting is DARK - I can barely see what's in there. There are only TWO drawers (old one had three) and I bought my own extra door shelf.
This fridge feels as if it was designed by someone who's never used a refrigerator. I saved some of the old parts from my previous fridge to bolster this one up. It feels like the whole operation is duct-taped together now.
I've renovated three kitchens and have bought many appliances. Don't like this fridge at all.
Try KitchenAid!

We would encourage you make arrangements to have an authorized GE servicer check the refrigerator to ensure the LED lighting is operating properly. Please call 1-800-432-2737 M-F 7am-10pm, Sat 8am-6pm, Sun 8am-6pm EST to schedule a service appointment. The interior is designed in such a way that you can adjust 3 of the 4 cabinet shelves and 2 of the door shelves in the fresh food section to accommodate your particular storage needs. Terrible lighting

Just bought this refrigerator and instantly regret it. The lighting is awful, and the light fixture in both the refrigerator side and freezer side take up some much space.
