Perfect for my space!

Purchased this counter-depth model to fit in a narrow kitchen.... which it does nicely. This particular model has a nice solid feel to it. Nothing flimsy. The freezer space seems somewhat limited, but the refrigerator side is adequate. I am looking forward to many years of good service from this appliance.

A tad disappointed

My apartment complex replaced my old refrigerator with this one (prior tenant had allowed mold to proliferate in ice maker bin). I was really disappointed at the lighting in the refrigerator compartment (old fridge had three lights and three different levels) and the absence of a cheese/meat/deli drawer. Just installed five hours ago and still running to get to temperature. We shall see how it works over time. I do suggest more lighting and the return of the third bin.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Better than most

Good product but not great. Needs a middle drawer for meats and cheeses and needs a second light lower down. Black, counter depth in a side by side was hard to find, so we settled for this model.

Great Features and Roomy

Our Refrigerator was already installed when we bought our home (previous home buyer fell out), but we could not be happier. It has a lot of storage space as well as on the door. Also comes with a sensor which is very handy when you have kids by reminding them to close it! We will definitely be purchasing another GE product. This time we are looking at upright freezers.
