Compared to my previous GE this one seems more cheaply made. It has one less drawer. It is very dark inside due to different lighting. The stainless steel is darker and doesn’t have the rich sheen. We are not even sure it is really stainless though sold as such. Removing drawers and shelves is still as difficult as in previous
model.

Bought this great refrigerator wish it would have a drawer higher for cheese and stuff. Love the icemaker makes plenty of ice. Not a whole lot of room in freezer.

Purchased this counter depth refrigerator/freezer in January 2018. Have been more than satisfied with its shelf and drawer storage capacity and it fits perfectly into the space designed for previous refrigerator.

I bought the GE side by side refrigerator. The water dispenser does not have a real collection area for dripping water. The water bounces off the flat tray down the front of the refrigerator onto the floor. It takes a good deal of practice for this not to happen and if you add ice it always happens. It could be easily fixed if they really made a slot in the tray which could easlily be sponged out. If they had any pride in their manufacturing this would be fixed instead of ignored. I would not recommend buying this unit it you use the water or ice dispenser.
