GZS model replaced the PZS model which had a much better drawer system

Compliments our other GE appliances in our new condo. I love the water and ice on the door! However, the ice maker, as most are, is noisy when making new ice.

We couldn't be happier with the look and functionality of this refrigerator. Fabulous layout inside, considering it's counter-depth and we thought that would mitigate good layout of shelves and drawers.

Very dark inside

We bought this refrigerator more than a month ago and we astonished to learn that is has just one light on the top. The owner's manual gives the spot for a second light on the lower part, put there is none. The seller agreed to exchange the refrigerator and when the new one arrived we saw the same problem: no second light source inside. That makes the refrigerator very dark and unpractical. We may want to exchange this again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Fewer cubic feet

I bought the outside dimensionally same side by side refrigerator as the GE unit it replaced. About 2 cubic feet less, one less drawer. Does not utilize what space there is as efficiently. Next refrigerator I may redo that area of the kitchen. I answered price for reason choosing GE, but the real reason was fit.
