I am remodeling my kitchen & was wanting to upgrade to stainless steel appliances. I fell in love with the slate color because it doesn't show fingerprints & smudges like the stainless steel does. I love my new GE Slate Refrigerator & plan to purchase the matching slide-in stove & dishwasher!

Bought about three months ago and have had no problems as of yet. Ice maker works great. Counter depth makes kitchen look so much more trim and updated.

Poor interior lighting, one monster light at top of refrig interior so lower shelves receive very little illumination. Lower deep storage drawer is blocked from sliding out unless refrig door is open all the way.

Filter status panel is awful

I bought this a few months ago. Every time I try to reset filter, it never shows green. The TDS meter on the water through refrigerator is also more than the acceptable limit.

Fridge is poorly insulated and is getting mold on the outside from the condensation, needs to be replaced

It really looks great in my kitchen but I am disappointed in the amount of room in the refrigerator cavity! I do realize it is counter depth so I guess one has to give up some space inside. It is very quiet too!
