Beautiful Refrigerator

I just had the refrigerator delivered and installed. After having another make for several years and having many problems I researched and found this one. The reviews were excellent so I purchased it this past weekend. Looking forward to many happy years with it.

I’ve had the fridge for two years now and it continues to work great. We needed a smaller side by side due to the location of a counter that wasn’t allowing a larger door to open. The water filter works good and we change it as indicated. There are just two of us in the house so the fridge space is adequate but wouldn’t work for a larger family as well. The freezer space is pretty small but we don’t keep much on that side. There is a small basket at the bottom that is useless and a waste of space. Overall I would purchase again due to the space requirements we had to work with. We are mainly fridge side users so it works well for us!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Insufficient lighting and no meat tray

I loved my original counter depth Ge profile purchased in 2009. Plenty of storage, shelving and bins and Great lighting. But unfortunately they said the cooling system had failed and too costly to repair!
NEW one has poor lighting, no small meat tray, no rack for canned drinks and 3 cu ft less in size!!! I wish now I had purchased my 2nd choice. Lighting is reduced once you have full shelves!!

I Love this Refrigerator! If you're shopping, I suggest that you shop by the dimentions first. The newer standard sizes are larger than the old models.

I hate this refrigerator. First of all I never realized that it does not have a deli meat tray/drawer which I would assume should be standard in most refrigerators. The water comes out super slow. The lack of good storage makes this refrigerator difficult to deal with. My other GE had lots more storage and space on door as well. The water dispenser area looks cheap also .Nothing good to say about this one.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Looks great!

This refrigerator looks smashing in our newly renovated kitchen. We chose this model because it was one of very few that would fit in the space. I am disappointed in the storage space - there’s not a lot of it compared to our old fridge. The freezer especially is not conducive to storage. The bottom rack/basket is weirdly designed - it does not hold anywhere close to the amount of food I could put in my old one. If they weren’t so expensive, I would chuck this and look for a different one. Check out the storage VERY carefully if you are considering this refrigerator. And, the light inside is very dim.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
