Great fridge!!!

It looks great (the slate is magnetic) and the feature that the light comes of softly is great for those late-night fridge attacks that are sometimes necessary.

Nice and Cold.

I love my refrigerator. It has space for everything. It seems to maximize a very small space to fit everything I put in it with room to spare. It runs consistently cold and it fits tight to close. I love the touch sensitive ice dispenser. The tray comes out for easy cleaning and the water is always nice and cold.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Not all it's cracked up to be

Wish I had come here and read reviews first. We got this model for a great deal through a friend. Shame on us for not doing more research. Our old fridge was a Whirlpool with a ton of LED lighting. This thing is a joke. 3 tiny LED's under a frosted dome shines hardly anything to the lower shelves. If you have no other lights on - you'll be fumbling to find things. Overall space is fine. Space for our freezer stinks compared to the old fridge which had a much better layout. The fridge side is fine, probably more space than we had before but with just the two of us - too much stuff in the fridge spoils. The other challenge is the two handles to open the door. Be careful putting your fingers in between them. I've almost broken my finger because my knuckle gets caught in the relatively narrow space between both handles. Assuming the ice maker works fine as this is review is fresh from opening the new fridge about an hour ago.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hard to buy online

Wanted a GE refrig to match GE oven and dishwasher. No models in stock to look at... ordered middle of the price range refrig... can’t believe the wheels do not have a lock so every time we close the door the refrig rolls... no egg box storage included... waited 3 months for delivery. Augh!

The light is very large and does not illuminate the bottom shelves and the very large tube that runs from it down the back of the inside takes up a lot of room. I also don't like the alarm that only gives you a few seconds to load groceries in it.
