Horrible Buy

I bought this in 2014. The vegetable bins all broke after a year, and the sizing was so odd, that I couldn't put a whole celery in any of them. Then the wheels on the meat drawer broke too. I have liquid that spilled and got inside the plastic area of the drawers and I cannot for the life of me clean it or take it apart to clean it. I ended up trowing away the 1/2 bins and literally took apart the holders to try to make a larger space where I just put on containers to use the space more efficient. I did purchased extended warranty, which I had to use 3 times with in the first 3 years. Two days ago the compressor is not working and is going to cost me more to try to replace it than to just buy a new fridge. I will be buying a new LG tomorrow. I took the time to research and review and made sure the inside is as simple as possible so I don't run into this problem. The sales lady assured me that LG has taken care of the compressor issues, I do hope so.

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This fridge looks nice but doesn't last long enough. The compressor failed in 6.5 years. I expected more from LG. Compressor not even lasting 10 years. Makes sense that they only offer 5 years labor since they know their products don't last long

My fridge is only a few years old and it stopped working. Three large items had to be replaced After they replaced them there was a crack on the inside of my fridge. They won’t fix it.

Problem with ice dispenser

A lot of $ for short life span
