The image quality is amazing.
It doesn't have a keyboard, but you can do pretty much anything you want with the phone app. The phone app has voice to text, too.
There are a lot of content options, and it will manage subscriptions for you.
The one down side is that it does not save Wifi information, so you have to reprogram the wifi from scratch every time you change locations.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We love our Roku. So much content its never a decision around here of what to watch. The initial set up was quick and easy, the free channels are almost endless. I'm very happy the Roku 2 has a wired ability with an Ethernet cable. Great product!

It's very fast, very easy to use, etc. All features are great with the exception of the remote...it's a point-and-click. This means you have to "aim it" at the Roku player. Our last one was an "aim anywhere" remote, which was much nicer.

Some Channels work fine, others do not

Well this is what I've noticed in the short time I have been using the Roku.
TubiTV app is pretty good.
I can go to CBS Watch on the internet and get some 'FREE' shows, but the CBS Watch Roku app requires subscription for the same 'FREE' content. Needless to say, I'm going to use the CBS Watch app on my Android and send it to my Chromecast since the CBS Watch app on Roku has no 'FREE' content.
SlingTV and Crackle apps are blocky like they are loosing video frames on the Roku while at the same time of day and on the same network I can use the SlingTV and Crackle apps on my Android and send them to Chromecast which is not blocky and looks great.
I have not tried other apps on the Roku yet, but I hope they do not have the same blocky video streaming.
Also, having to enter logon credentials for various apps on the Roku is painful. Too bad there is no local web interface or online interface when adding the channel to the Roku to send logon credentials with the app to the Roku or something...
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
