Better than firestick

I picked up a roku 2 as part of a sling TV promo. Thought I would try it out since I already had a couple Amazon fire sticks. I am impressed. The roku is more intuitive and easier to navigate around in than the firestick. Hmm....kinda wish I'd known that earlier.

Way better than my Roku XD had become

I bought my first Roku 2 about a month ago after owning a Roku XD for the past 5 years and my XD had started having a lot of issues with freezing up and having to reset it once or twice a day. I tried using Sling TV with the Roku XD and it would constantly lock up (about every half hour to an hour if I was lucky to make it that long) Needless to say I got rid of sling for a few months until I got my new Roku 2 and Now it works great. I haven't had to restart it once yet. I also really like the new dashboard that they offer for netflix on the Roku 2, and they also automatically play the next show in a series which works great for those lazy binge watching days and you just don't feel like reaching for the remote between every episode.

We have been using the Roku 2 for a couple weeks now and we are loving it. I was sick and tired of the constant price increases from tv services. We get more enjoyment from free tv and movies and we add on what we like such as Amazon Prime, Netflix and whatever we may want to rent for the moment. We have saved so much more over a monthly bill from Directv. No problems with set up or connections.
