Love it most of the time

We spend more time streaming entertainment than watching traditional networks. Love the seamless connectivity to our streaming services. Once in a while, we have difficulty with the video matching the audio. We have to reboot.

Great Purchase!

I purchased the Roku 2 a few weeks ago, and it has been wonderful. I was original looking for an easy way to stream Netflixs, but have found that my wife and I prefer watching all our TV on this device. Whether you are looking for a convenient way to stream movies or hoping to replace a bulky cable bill, the Roku 2 is the perfect fit for you.

I've had very little luck getting my Roku 2 to work consistently. It took forever to set up as there was continuous "connection" issues and error messages. This seems to be the norm in my experience with both a Roku Stick and a Roku 2. Other people say they have had great experiences but mine has been disappointing. I have had an Apple TV (older version) and never had an issue so I guess the bar was set pretty high.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I purchased the Roku 2 about 3 weeks ago, and i love it. I wwish i would have gotten it a lot sooner. Tons of movies and tv shows for free.....a huge plus! The remote is very responsive and the app for the phone and tablet is great. I am definately getting another on in the future.

poor connection to my wifi

not happy with roku wifi connection. it seems to be very slow. loses connection and picture quality was poor. even when set to 1080. i compared it to my laptop which was much better so i switched back to using my laptop to connect to the internet and stream movies. currently Roku is is my drawer. waste of money for me.

So far I am pleased with my purchase. I do not pay for tv, instead I have opted to go the antenna route. I over paid for dish for years. Roku and Netflix have been a great alternative.
