Decent product

This product is good, but the only thing im unhappy about is that its suppose to have free channels. The free channels are only free for a month and you have to sign up for them. You should have explained that on the box or something. Im only putting that the content available is fair because you can get a lot of channels if you pay for them.

Does exactly as is advertised

Streams great. One problem, you cannot turn it off. There is no off button nor is their a timer to turn it off. If you fall asleep while watching one of your saved series, the Roku will continue to stream until you go to home on the remote. This is the only electronic product that I own that you cannot turn off with an off button.

best thing i ever did was buy a Roku 2 player. it flawless, i have so many free channels, incorporated Netflix and amazon prime. so easy to set up and use. I wish i had found this sooner. Cable to me is such a waste, when you compare Roku 2 to cable there is no comparison. If you don't have a Roku player, you should consider buying one, you will never go back to cable again. Customer service was excellent , responded to me via email or live chat very quickly. I am so happy i bought the Roku 2

Nice replacement

We have 6 Roku devices within 2 houses and they all work quite well. The recent one we purchased was to replace a Roku 2 that went bad and although the Roku technicians were helpful, the 2012 Roku 2 needed to be replaced. The new one works well no complaints.

I bought this like a month ago, and there was some delay with the mail; so it got sent back. And what should've been 2 days, turned into 2 weeks. Oh did I mention I prepaid for 3 months. But the Roku representatives were a pleasure to work with and even prorated me for the time I'd lost. I was fine with a simple sorry, but they went above and beyond. So much better than cable.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Love my ROKU 2

I bought this two weeks ago. Love it. Easy to set up and use. So many free channels and other options for pay. I choose ROKU 2 it had more options than ROKU 1, and less tech options than ROKU 3 ( I am not tech swave). So glad I purchased this product.

Netflix client limited....

This player is functional, but it is also 'dated'. The Netflix client is very old and does not support user profiles. I imagine that over time (if not already) other clients will also fall out of currency.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
