Glad I switch from cable

This is best device. I love that I can pick my own channels and not be stuck with channels that I never watch. There is always something to watch for everyone. At times it's a little overwhelming. I will never go back to any cable provider.

I live in a rural area with no tv access and I don't want to pay for Satellite but I have DSL. This fits the bill. I get PBS and a bunch of free stuff with this plus I can pay a bit for Netflix of Hulu.

Fast and easy

We bought a Roku 2 on the recommendation of our daughter. We're certainly glad we did. It was laughably easy to install and we've been enjoying our favorite British cozy mysteries for a few weeks now.

This is my 4th Roku unit. 1 for each TV. Am very pleased with the performance of the unit, but disappointed with some of the programing. It has HBOGO but is missing MAXGO, Has Showtime but is missing The Movie Channel, It also lacks access to Starz, and Encore. Fox News Now is available on Tablet and Phone but not Roku. It has more programing than most TV Boxes but could be much better.

I previously used a ps3 for streaming. The roku is way way better! Very clear video with no stops for buffering or reset and plenty of great channels. Pleasantly surprised by the additional channel content vs ps3.

Excellent Media Player

Firstly, I have had many other streamers and have always returned to the Roku. The simple interface and media options at a good price point is a plus. I use my Roku 2 (new) for Plex, HBOgo, Amazon Video and have not been happier. I wasnt sure if the wifi could handle full 1080p videos but i have not had a problem at all. Thanks Roku

Keep in mind that these comments are coming from a 66 year old Luddite. The technology seems to work fine. Still learning how to navigate. Will use mostly the free services. Where is Duckman?
