Not what I expected

My sister got this for me about a month ago in the hopes that I would be able to get the sports and news programing that I was missing since I discontinued my cable subscription. Many of those (MSNBC, CSN California) appear not to be available. I also hoped that I could use ROKU to connect my computer wirelessly to my video screen, This also seems not to be possible,
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Control Over Your TV

Bought a couple of weeks ago as a way to cut the cable cord. Am liking the variety offered. Haven't yet been able psychologically to give up the cable but hat is coming as by calculations, Roku will give me more to view at half the cost. Also like being able to watch on my time, not just when show is airing. One negative I've found is I am having a hard time identifying channels that are free vs ones that have a fee.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is my second Roku. The new lay out is great and the WiFi connection is much better than the old one. I passed the old one on to a friend because still working after almost 10 year. Great product, excellent quality
