I love it....I was concerned at first. But after I began using it I now want to get off my cable. Very easy to manipulate and very convenient so I can watch what I want to watch at my leisure.

Its ok for what it is

I like it, but the remote buttons are stiff. Everything seems to work except for sling tv. All i get from that apo is the yellow circle.

Solid machine that does what I need

I upgraded from the old Roku 2 to the new one in the past month, after the old one finally gave up the ghost after (I think) 4 years. The new one is much, much faster, with quick response times, easy searching, and nearly no buffering issues or loss of resolution. I like Roku because I don't feel like I am selling my viewing habits to a company that already knows too much about me - like Amazon, Google, or Apple - and the product simply works with all of the content I am looking for. I study international film and television, so that is pretty impressive. I plugged it in, registered it, and it automatically downloaded the channels I previously had. My one small complaint is that I don't love the additional buttons on the bottom of the remote that connect directly to pay channels - Netflix and Amazon I at least understand, but radio doesn't even exist anymore and I can't remember what the last one is, that's how little I care about it. The buttons are located in a much too easy to accidentally hit place, and the inevitably take me out of whatever I was actually watching - I wish, at the very least, they went to a "are you sure you want to launch this channel?" box if you are already in another channel. But this is a very small quibble.

Great Interface, Easy to use, Fast!

I had been using my laptop to watch Netflix and Amazon titles, which is fine, but it monopolizes my laptop, and load times were slow at times. With the Roku, there is almost no load time, quality of the image is Great, Remote is small and simple, and the actual device is super small and indiscreet.. Very happy with my purchase.

Seriously underwhelmed

I bought this and everything worked as expected but the thing that sticks out to me the most is how incredibly slow it is. It works as advertised it's just very very slow and I made sure to put it in an area where it gets full signal strength. I get quicker response time simply using my Chromecast with my phone
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
