i have had mine for 3 weeks now and still discovering new things i can do with it.....My son had a stick and i used it and was really impressed, so i choose the roku2 because the reviews and price were great.

Takes forever to install

Roku continually said installation failed, also code they give you to sign up times out, such a pain, finally after two days got it installed and it freezes often. It's right next door to the wifi box, don't get it. A word of advice, get signed up for your Roku account before you hook it up and be ready with Internet and credit card no.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great way to begin to unbundle...

Using this as an alternative to Cable at my second home, only draw back is the quality of my internet access, that being DSL. That's not Roku's fault, other than that, I am considering using this at my primary residence.

Live the Roku 2. It does everything we need it to except having a workable browser. The streaming is great, work flawless. Once a good browser is introduced, I feel it will be 5 star.
