New to Roku

We have recently cut the cable on three of our TV's and switched to the Roku devices. We use the "stick" on two of them and Roku 2 on one of them. Initially I had a problem getting "2" to connect though wifi, even with an extender. I swapped out "2" with one of the sticks, and problem solved. I switched "2" to the TV closest to the modem/router using Ethernet, and that problem is also solved. We couldn't be happier, we love the huge variety of channels available. It goes without saying, these devices saved us a lot of money over our previous cable bill.

When you decide to cut the cable. My payback came withon the 1st 2 weeks. The Roku 2 is everything you need when coupled with a digital antenna gor local broadcasts

But the freaking remote is driving me crazy. I click on the arrow button once and it speeds thorough enter selections. If I click on the opposite arrow button, it speeds through everything in reverse. The experience would be 5 stars if I could get the remote to actually respond accurately.

Easy to install and works well

I received this Roku several months ago as a birthday present and prior to having internet at a Lake Michigan cottage I own. Once internet was installed, I connected the Roku devise and immediately was able to access my Netflix and Amazon accounts. I am now in the process of adding other channels. So far it has worked exceptionally well.
