The new ROKUs have an excellent interface which make them very easy to use. That, coupled with an affordable cost makes ROKU a perfect solution for streaming content. We love the network apps (NBC, ABC, CBS, PBS, etc.) which enable us to go back and watch TV shows that we have missed. We were early ROKU adopters and we now have upgraded to two ROKU 2's and a ROKU 3 and they all work great.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have been using this product for more than 2 weeks and I am extremely happy with it. I switched to Roku from Chromecast. I like the fact that Roku includes Amazon video streaming that was not supported on Chromecast. It has wide variety of streaming services and it does not favor one to another.
I would like Roku not make entering credit card info mandatory while registering the product and ask for credit card details only when making a purchase.

Perfect for a small budget and the kids loved it!

I bought a Roku for the kids room and they absolutely love it and it was very easy for them to learn to use. The Roku has multiple choices of kids programming for them to enjoy plus if you have a Netflix account the Roku also offers that feature too. It worked out so great for the kids that I went and purchased two more Roku boxes for the master bedroom and the guest room. Great deals, at very affordable prices. Way better than paying all the extra big money through your local cable or satellite provider for extra room setups and channel packages. You won't regret making Roku a new part of your family entertainment.

Kept shorting out my soundbar

It was great for a few days, but then after going through the process of elimination I realized that the Roku was shorting out my soundbar. I had to disconnect the HDMI/Roku, unplug the power to the Roku, and reset it a few times for it to work. After having to this a few times a day, I returned it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Almost There.

Cutting the cord and after some research decided to get a Roku 2. Did have some difficulty in set up and would have liked to see a little more explanation on setting some of the options but overall got it up and running. Very happy with the product.
