This is insane. I have to write everything in like a typist. Pretty cumbersome. I guess I will keep trying it but not as easy as just cruising channels. When I am tired it is really hard to wind down when you are trying to figure out how to navigate.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I was watching sling by connecting my laptop to TV by HDMI cable. What a difference with Roku and so much more including many free programs

has no 5.1 HD

I am generally happy with my Roku 2 player. But, I had hoped it had 5.1 HD playback. All, my Netflix shows, on my Roku 2 show HD playback. None, have 5.1 HD playback. I see the same shows on other devices (my Blu-Ray player and old WD player) have many (most) Netflix shows in 5.1 HD. Oh well.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I got this free when I purchased 3 months of SlingTV. On the plus side, there is a SlingTV app. I find the remote a bit clunky and the screen refresh a bit slow between menu selections. Would probably get a 4 unless Sling appears on some other platforms. Also it is not able to turn off the TV or control volume like the ATV4 was able to do.
I would recommend this to a friend!
