Purple screen of death

I may have gotten a defected product. It is VERY inconsistent. Seems to have a mind of it's own sometimes. It would work just fine on one day, and the very next it will give me the purple screen of death. I would need to reboot and reset the wireless configuration and disconnect and reconnect multiple times before getting it to work properly.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Fast, reliable and dual band wireless

Use our Rokus every day. Love this model. It operates much faster than older models, includes dual-band wifi, which I wanted, and we save a lot of money streaming shows and movies through our Rokus instead of satellite T.V. More channels and content than you need. Very few channels missed from our satellite T.V. days. I think it is an excellent product and a great value. I set Rokus up for some IT clients and teach them to use the Roku. Everyone seems to be happy with them.

Rook is a handy product to get some of the programming that you might want to watch. However, I find it really annoying to have to enter codes for every program watched, it takes a long time to program them all, you have to have a laptop on in order to get the codes then enter then into Roku. After that tedious task is accomplished it works well with little pixilation of programming. Worth the buy.

I had Roku and switched to Firestick and was very unhappy with it! Ditched back to Roku and will not switch again unless it's to upgrade my Roku

I am super happy with roku 2, I turn down my cable service as soon as I bought it and no regrets! Will recommend anybody looking to cut bills!

great alternative from high priced cable

I have had my Roku 2 for several months know. enjoy it quite a bit. It would be great if it was able to receive history vault channel. I very much enjoy that channel and tune in every day. It is only acesable on Roku 3. Don't see why it couldn't be on Roku 2 also.
