Not much bang for buck.

It is so very limited in aps can't surf the web, wont play continuously, buffer overflows and stops play, we have 50Mb service so it is not that, Netflix and hulu etc work better on the blueray with surround sound.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I also have an Amazon Fire Stick and like it much more. I purchased the Roku due to recommendation from a friend. Wish I would have bought Amazon product

Easy, any show anytime with pause, search functions all at 10% the cost of local cable.
