Great Features, Basic Setup No options

I bought this player, having already an apple TV and an LG smart TV. Roku works great, there are only 2 things I do not like:
1) Wifi setup is very limited in possibilities, you can only go DHCP and you can't do anyting but mess around with your router if you want to do something different
2) No power on power off switch. In this world, we need to be able to switch off things when we are not using them.

How Could I Live Without This!!!!!

I bought ROKU 2 a few weeks ago and installed it last weekend. It was incredibly easy to do and I have so many options to watch not just movies, but tv shows. I bought this with the intention of getting rid of cable, and am looking forward to doing this in a few weeks!!!

I never knew about roku until a relative told me how much I could save. Now I'm enjoying it and saving a bundle when compared my previous cable bill.

Perfect for Time Warner Cable!!

I bought my Roku about a week ago and love it!! Especially since I have Time Warner Cable which allows me to use my home Wi-Fi to stream cable on the Roku. Saves me on my monthly cable bill. I'll definitely recommend the Roku to anyone looking to save on their cable bill.

as my old roku 2 could not handle the faster internet speeds, I purchased a new one. the installation was as simple as ever and the new roku 2 works much better than the old one
