An (almost) perfect solution!

I love Roku - it makes getting content on my TV painless. The only improvement I would hope for is an increase in the codecs supported. Occasionally (not often) I have a file that will not play. Otherwise, I love this solution.

Much better features

I purchased this box hoping to get better speed than the standard HD box I was using. I have to say it appears that I do get better streaming with this box with less buffering than the old box. I recommend to anyone with DSL and an HD TV capable of streaming with HDMI.

When it works it's great but there are too many occasions when it takes too long to load or it says the program cannot be loaded at this time. I don't think my router is at fault.

Great and easy to understand features

We bought two a few weeks ago and we love it. It's easy to setup and to understand. Just wish some more channel selections didn't need a cable provider to subscribe. That's the reason we got the Roku to get rid of cable and it's how cost.

New Roku 2 Review

I bought the new Roku 2 a couple of weeks ago. I have the previous Roku 2 as well. So I can really compare the two side by side. I bought the new 2 because of the increased speed and abilitiy to load Youtube quickly. And it does. It loads Youtube in less than 5 seconds. The trade-off is the remote. I really like my wifi remote, and my kids are always standing between me and the new Roku 2. But the more responsive system is a big gain.
