Likes to lag a little and freeze on the home screen, but generally works well after that

Great features, but account set up sucks

I love the features and it has everything I need: netflix, HBO Go, Amazon Prime, and YouTube. It works fine with only a wireless connection. Price point great. Love streaming my own videos, photos and music.
the only problem was I could NOT complete Roku account set up. Would not accept any credit card, paypal, etc that I entered and there was no option to skip screen and enter that later. Had to call customer service to approve without it. Forums indicate this is a common problem. That was a pain and turned what should've been a 5 minute set up into much longer.

Great for cable cutters

Easy setup, I bought this after cancelling cable and going internet only, has all apps for streaming services I use, without a smart tv I wanted to be able to watch on my big screen and not just my tablet.
I am not using the wireless can't speak on that I wired directly since I use it as a replacement for cable

Easy to Hook-up and Set-up

I found that the Roku 2 was very easy to hook up to a TV using an HDMI cable. The set up was easy as all is provided visually on your TV screen. The ease of use and the downloads are self explanatory. I would recommend this product to my friends and family. Especially people that don't own a SMART TV

Good but....

I've had my Roku for 2 weeks. It works and I've enjoyed using it but there is a VERY short functional distance between the unit and the remote. I almost have to get out of bed to turn it off.
I would recommend this to a friend!
