Much better

I have owned it for 3 weeks and it has been perfect. I owned previous model and it was terrible. Always losing connection and had to reset box. Terrible! I placed this new box in the same place and outstanding performance. Fast with no problems. I bought it for the time warner app. Easily could replace HD box. Has close to the same channel guide I have with their box.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The player is good. It's certainly functional. However the app is awesome. It makes the remote obsolete. Overall, this is the best player we have.

We bought our Roku 2 a few weeks ago so that we could do away with satellite. We couldn't be happier. I was referred by a friend and I couldn't be happier with my decision.

I own a Roku 3. It is so good (read "so much better than AppleTV") that I needed another one. I went with the new Roku 2, and I am very happy with it. Here's the summary: If you don't mind a line-of-sight remote (rather than wifi-based) and you don't mind giving up the headphone jack in the remote (and voice search capabilities), the Roku 2 is the best value. And with the newest version, it is FAST!

I purchased the roku about a month ago. It was for my mother so that she could watch certain shows in her room. It was very easy to set up and user friendly for my mother to use.
