I don't miss my cable at all!!!

I was a but apprehensive about cutting the cord because that's all I knew but my coworker's had done it and told me to get a roku to see if I like it and it was one of the best decisions I've made. My only issue is that I don't have a few of the channels I love (like maybe three max) and some of the live channels you have to hear annoying music instead of commercials.

Satisfied but with issues

I am extremely satisfied with my Roku Player but I do have one issue that is a constant aggravation. I am hard of hearing and use Closed Captioning. I find it impossible to make my Roku default to Closed Captioning on in all applications by default. I have to turn it on on each title or video. Just one example is YouTube. Other than that one issue I am very happy with my Roku 2.

Bought to use prime on my TV and it's great. Also able to view YouTube and iHeartRadio and so on.

My preferred connection to streaming video

This is now the third Roku I've had, and I'm most pleased with this. Roku 1 was to interface with an older TV. Worked great. We bought a new TV and Roku Streaming Stick came with it. It was fine, but stalled from time to time, and was extremely prone to overheating. When I signed up for Sling TV, they offered a Roku 2 for free. So I took the offer. In the month since that time, I've had no problems with stalling. The connection is much faster, and I couldn't be happier.

After trying cable, dish and other streaming devices, this is the best receiver I've found and I like it. Now if Hollywood would start making shows worth watching, it would be even better.
