Great product

This is our second Roku after we cut the cable about 3 years ago. It has really improved especially when we hooked it up to HDMI video. Also with good apps like Amazon and the new Sling I haven't missed the cable at all.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought this because I dropped directv and switched to PlayStation vue however all apps except that one seem to work with no problem

So easy to use and features all the channels I want to see! We live way out of town so our Roku is hard wired to the Internet. We have no connectivity problems! Very happy!

Should have done it sooner!!

I bought a Roku 2 a little over a month ago. I really should have done it sooner. My Xfinity subscription is up in a little over 3 months and I'm about to get a second Roku for another TV so I can "cut the cord" sooner and just eat the early termination penalty.

Opens up a whole new world of TV

I Roku 2 to watch Gaia on a larger screen than my computer and also watch a particular LiveStream broadcast. I'm amazed at how much free content is available. I refuse to pay high prices for junky content on cable and satellite. I made do with the one PBS station I could get in rural Iowa and was content with that. This gives me many more choices for quality programing. The Roku 2 is very easy to use. I chose the Roku 2 because I wanted to use ethernet--I don't like to run wifi in my home. I did not feel the need for the advanced features of the more expensive models. I've tried controlling it with my Kindle Fire, but mostly just like to use the simple remote that comes with it. The only thing I would add is the ability to hook up a USB or BlueTooth keyboard so one could type in searches, instead of using the awkward text entry system. Set-up was easy except that I had to get and enter a key code twice to get it to work. It is a great product. With the addition of keyboard connectivity, it would be nearly perfect.

Thankful for Sling tv it is very useful for mobile device laptop & especially ROKU for my sons T.v.
