I disconnected my cable and bought Roku. there are lots of free channels available and some are good for kids learning point of view. On top of free contents I have subscribed some paid channels. Enjoying so far and great services without TV connection.

Didn't work

Was so excited as I love acorn tv. However I think I got a defective one. Have high speed internet from Comcast Xfinity but it would only play a sentence or two and then time out for very long periods of time. Called tech support for assistance and did everything they told me to do several times to no avail. Took it back and exchanged for another one. Haven't installed it yet as I am upgrading to a stronger wi-fi box for better streaming and will try again. My laptop and my iPad stream flawlessly but would like to watch on my big screen tv. Want to cut cable cord so hope this works. Will review again when I have completed new set up

I loved the no brainer set up instructions that came with the Roku. I wanted to try Sling TV but my blue ray player hadn't been updated with Sling yet. I ended up getting the Roku for free with my Sling subscription. The Roku is much easier to use and has so much more available on it. I love it!
