It is no longer intelligent to be paying cable companies for the programing ( or lack of it ) they provide.

It was very slow, and couldn't update.

I bought two of these little guys, and each time it wouldn't update to download new applications. It also was incredible slow and browsing the various menus was unenjoyable.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought a roku 2 and a 3 I am very happy with both although the headphones adapter port on the 3 stoped working I am pleased with them.

Love the concept EXCEPT for one thing (maybe 2). We cant get local stations (ABC, CBS, NBC) without getting an antenna then walking around the house until reception is attained. The other small issue is learning how to navigate the system. There seem to be apps inside of other apps. Not a good thing.

Over all satisfaction is good. My parents had little difficulty to change channel because they are used to with convention TV remote. I have no issue with using.
