Long lag time when turning on

We bought this about 3 months ago and it gets the job done (ie Netflixs, streaming videos) but has an extremely long lag time when turning on. It takes 5-10 minutes to turn on and start working.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Loving my Roku!

We recently purchased a Roku2 for our household so we can stream TWC TV and it works flawlessly. A great addition to have if you wish to save a few dollars on Cable boxes! Plus more options to choose from like Netflix/Hulu and other streaming services if there is nothing to watch on cable TV.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought my Roku for an extra TV, I hooked it up to the main TV and now I need to buy another one. It is Awesome! The number of channels was a surprise, I could not believe how many there are. I am so happy I bought it!

We bought the device about a month ago and cannot believe how easy it is! Neither of us are tech savvy so we were concerned we would not be able to figure out how it worked. Roku made the whole set up easy for us to understand and we have been enjoying it ever since! Thank you Roku!!

Easy to set up and a great choice to replace cable or satellite tv. Wish I had done this months ago. Liked the ROKU 2 so much that I purchased the ROKU 3.

Baby boomers finally cut the cable cord

We are in a temporary location and did not want to take on an additional cable bill, yet over the air antenna TV channels are extremely limited. Netflix gave us more options on a Samsung Smart TV in the living room, yet in the bedroom, we were limited to DVDs. I selected the Roku 2 for an older non-wireless not-so-smart TV in the bedroom. Setup was super easy, and we are very happy at the wide range of entertainment options.
I would recommend this to a friend!
