Good overall performance

I bought this unit to serve as my cable box for my basement TV. Works great. Had issues changing from 720 to 1080 device output. Finally worked after a few attempts.

It did not work well with Sling TV

I purchased this to replace an older Roku box. I was hoping that sling TV might work with a newer box. It did not. Sling TV works well on my PC but I would rather it work on my TV. The Roku works well on Netflix And HULU. Does not lock up or freeze on Netflix or Hulu.
It is near impossible to watch Sling TV on a Roku box. It is frozen more then it plays. I suspect it is not the Roku box moreover it would be issues with the Sling TV app.

Great Variety!

Bought this a few weeks ago to be able to stream HBO now on my living room television. Works great plus gives more streaming variety. Only downfall is it does Not come with the hdmi cord that is needed. Had to make an extra trip to get it. Would have given five stars otherwise.

I've owned the Roku for several months and am very pleased with it. It doesn't hang up on programs like my computer did, and has a large selection of APS to choose from - endless, really. I would highly recommend it to anyone!

Love the freedom!

I bought this about a month ago when I upgraded my internet! Love it! Been watching Netflix and Hulu a ton! I like to use it connected directly to my modem. It works much better than streaming wireless and is why I bought the 2!

OMG ive been wanting to cut the cord to cable for a while now and finally took the leap. did so for several reasons. 1) I felt I owed my dvr attention due to its continued recording of shows I felt I needed to see and 20 cable cost was thru the roof. well lemme tell yall!!! IM MORE OF A COUCH POTATO NOW THAN EVER. THE AMOUT OF GOOD PROGRAMING ON Roku IS UNBELIEVABLE.. I LOVE YOU ROKU

I bought this not too long ago and I really do love it. I have all the channels that I watched on Direct TV and it costs allot less! The only problem that I am having is that in order to use some programs that I signed up for, is that you have to have a cable or
a satellite provider account. I thought that was what this was all about was to eliminate the need for those. But, alas, it is not so.
