Great Service - Sign Up without cred card needed.

It took me a long time to sign up because I was unwilling to give my credit number to a source where I had no assurance of absolute protection and from which I would never purchase content. This credit card requirement is the sole negative for this service but it is significant and a non-credit card sign up option should be offered at initial sign up.

Great cost savings and options

I bought this to try to get out of high cable and direct tv charges. It requires Internet which I have to have anyway. I sub scripted to Netflix and Hulu and have all the tv and movie watching I or my teens can handle. Best thing I did in ages

Bought this a few months ago, works great easy navigation. This product has more channels than the other alike products. It even has adult channels.

Who Needs Cable?

I'm a twenty something. That means I don't like paying more than o have to to get my needs met. Considering I have a perfectly good hdtv, I wanted a better way to watch movies and shows that didn't involve purchasing an expensive smart tv or connecting my run-down laptop. (You can still "mirror" your computer, but I haven't tried it yet.) At this point, I don't even pay for cable—just Internet—which is saving a whole bunch of money! I'll admit, it was hard getting used to being behind on Scandal and HTGAWM, but I was working and missing it anyway. Plus, you can watch from the ABC app for free 2 weeks out or pay a fee to watch immediately or live stream. But there's a good chance ABC is available for free as a local channel. You just hook up the cable and you get free local channels! #merica
Things I don't like are the remote: I wish it had letters on it haha. But you can type out searches using the remote app on your phone, which is great. Also (this is really petty but...) I don't like when they change my theme to holidays. Not everyone wants a Father's Day theme, ya know? You should at least be able to opt out of automatic theme changes or select ones to opt out of.

My husband bought this for me and I loved it! It's easy to use and haven't have any problems with it! I plan on buying one for my kids soon :)
