I took a chance and I must say that I do prefer my Sony Blu-Ray player over the Roku. It brings in the content but control is not what I would prefer. I would only recommend if I had a good idea that this is exactly what they are looking for.

I bought this a month ago and it worked so easily out of the box, setting up online. No issues, as expected!! Have only used Amazon Prime and Netflix so far.

On cable lots of time with nothing to watch. With Roku, I have so much content, I don't have time to watch it all. It's great to be able to watch what you want when you want it.

Roku has not disappointed! I am amazed at the variety of programming that I now have at my fingertips. I watch exactly what I want without any wasted unused channels. Roku's remote is wonderful and provides convenient shortcuts to the most popular streaming sites.
