We absolutely love the Roku 2, it is so easy to use, and so much more to watch than what was on our "premiere" cable subscription. Only thing we had to upgrade our sound bar because the technology was outdated.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I don't miss my cable

Cord-cutting was one of the smartest decisions I've made so far and Roku 2 has greatly helped that. I don't have a smart TV so was vacillating between the Roku 2, Roku 3 and the Amazon Fire TV. I ultimately chose the Roku 2. I love how seamless and clean the User Interface is (compared to the Fire TV-- which seemed cluttered to me). I also liked that the Roku HAS an Amazon app which enables me to still watch my Prime content. Ultimately, it came down to how quickly and easily I could find content, according to how I want to find it and the Roku has delivered on that. I also chose the Roku 2 vs Roku 3 because they seemed similar and the upgrade on the 3 was not going to be useful to me. Very happy customer.

TV Made Awesome

I bought the ROKU 2 to stream a couple of pay channels, VUDU and Netflix. There's also an app for Time Warner Cable. I can now stream all of my TWC channels including pay channels without having to add boxes and extra charges. I liked the ROKU 2 so much that I bought a ROKU 3 for our living room tv.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We have had an Apple TV for some time and were waiting to see if they would pick up Amazon prime. When they did not, we decided to purchase the Roku2. Wish we had purchased it earlier. So much easier to navigate with the remote. A button for Netflix and Amazon on the remote. Love having Pandora, too. And no constant buffering during movies and shows. Very pleased.
